Teaching Philosophy
As an instructor, I know the importance of being able to communicate the simplicity of the golf swing to all levels of players. No two golfers are alike. No two bodies are built the same. It is important to be able to adapt a person’s body and flexibility to fit the swing and not the other way around. No matter what your background, I possess the communication skills to unlock the key to your swing, ultimately giving you enjoyment with your golf game.
Although I have been schooled in the Golfing Machine (the physics of the swing), I have spent countless hours and years learning to distill the game into simplistic language. Many students tell me it was my willingness to continue stating the same concept in different ways that allowed them to experience many an “aha” moment.
There are, however, a few swing elements that must be in place in order to execute and receive results in striking a golf ball. If one were to side-by-side compare swings of two players, even two golf professionals, they would not be alike. They will have those swing elements that will remain constant, especially through the hitting zone (the area right before and after the ball), but their swings will NOT be the same.
My goal is to work with the ability and personal goal that the individual golfer brings me, maximizing their personal goals, helping them both reach their potential and experience the pleasure of golf. Don't forget: the game is meant to be enjoyed.
I have worked with all ages, all levels, and all goals. Whether your goal is to play in a corporate outing, break 90 or shoot par (or below), I can help you get there!
